Water Bombing System Installation
With the installation of Wipline 13000 Amphibious Floats, a need existed for the design and installation of a new water bombing system in the amphibious floats. Previous water bombing floats for the DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft were limited to water floats only. The design and engineering efforts necessary for a modification to put a water bombing system into the Wipline amphibious floats were undertaken by DECA Aviation in support of this program. The modified aircraft is shown here undergoing water dropping tests.
