Douglas DC-3
Operated by Canada Centre for Remote Sensing, Ottawa
Atmospheric Research Installation

Originally engineered by Aastra Aerospace in Ottawa in 1984 / 85, the aircraft shown here was equipped with the Sensor Pylon on top of the fuselage, and operated in a weather research role, sampling data for raindrop sizing and other atmospheric properties.
DECA Aviation has recently purchased all airworthiness related assets previously held by Aastra, and is pleased to provide continuing airworthiness support for all previous Aastra approvals.
