Boeing 737-210C
Conversion to Passenger / Cargo "Combi" Configuration

Approached by a customer with unique transportation requirements, DECA Aviation provided engineering and DAR services in support of the efforts to reconfigure this aircraft for passenger/cargo combi operations. This particular aircraft was previously used as an all-cargo airplane, and hence extensive rework was required to re-establish all the passenger service systems.

The main deck cargo compartment was certified to the more stringent Class C requirements with a Halon fire suppression system, in place of the original Class B certification on the aircraft. A smoke barrier bulkhead was installed to divide the cabin into the passenger portion at the rear, and the cargo compartment in the forward cabin.
